What is Rewoven?
Rewoven is an app for collaboratively building a timeline of someone's life. Multiple contributors can add photos, voice memos, stories, quotes, and more to create a rich, multi-perspective portrait that preserves memories for generations.
How do I invite family members to contribute?
Open a story, tap on the settings or share icon, and select "Invite Contributors." You can send invites via text message, email, or by sharing a link. Contributors will need to download Rewoven to participate.
What's the difference between Contributors and Viewers?
Contributors can add memories, photos, voice recordings, and other content to the timeline. Viewers can see everything but cannot add or modify content. You control who gets which role.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes! Your content is encrypted and stored securely. Stories are only visible to people you specifically invite. We never sell your data or share it with third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Can I share or download my stories?
Yes! You can create a shareable web link that lets anyone view your story in their browser—no app required. Links can be password-protected and set to expire. From the web viewer, recipients can also download the complete story as a self-contained archive for offline viewing.
What types of content can I add?
You can add photos, photo albums, voice memos, written stories, quotes, document scans, and location markers. Each piece of content can be placed on the timeline with dates ranging from exact to approximate.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the app settings, or by contacting us at support@rewoven.com. We'll process your request and remove your personal data.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
First, try closing and reopening the app. Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store. If the issue persists, please email us at support@rewoven.com with details about what's happening.
Do I need a subscription to use Rewoven?
No subscription required! Rewoven is available as a one-time purchase. If you need additional storage or more contributors, optional upgrades are available within the app.
